Green Age Design participates in sustainable supply chain forum


Earlier this spring, with the recession still close in the rearview mirror, MM&D hosted a roundtable discussion to assess the state of sustainability initiatives in Canadian supply chains.
At the table were six industry experts: Jack Ampuja, president of Supply Chain Optimizers; Bob Dineen, president and general manager of Dominion Warehousing & Distribution Services Ltd; Bob Edwards, vice-president and general manager of Green Age Design; Barry Murphy, national sales manager at Wheels Group; Donna O’Reilly, vice-president of commercial financial services at RBC Royal Bank (which sponsored the event); and John Scheel, vice-president, supply chain at Grand & Toy. Hamilton port facility to get thousands in upgrades


HAMILTON, Ont. -- Logistics capacity in Hamilton has been bolstered with the return of operations at a facility in the Eastport lands. The Hamilton Port Authority (HPA) Pier 25 location is under lease to CareGo Innovative Solutions and will undergo significant investment to upgrade its capabilities, according to officials. The facility, known as Plant 19 and operated by the company's Steelcare division, is a distribution centre originally designed for automated steel coil transfers. Read More

Care Go Opens a Facility in Brampton, Ontario

Care Go is pleased to announce the opening of a new facility in Brampton, ON.  Convieniently located near the highway 407/Airport Road interchange at 225 Parkhurst Square.  This 60,000 square foot facility offers drive-in and dock level loading as well as an indoor dock level bay.  Material handling equipment includes both high capacity (20,000lbs) short mast fork lifts and an overhead crane.  The site was chosen to better service it's GTA customers and it's proximity to the intermodal rail yards.  It is slated to become the regional hub for Care Go's expanding operations to the Greater Toronto Area.
